Growing up in the vibrant and diverse community of Shanghai, China, and later attending school in England, I’ve been fortunate to experience different cultures and perspectives. However, one similarity stood out: the elder generation is often excluded, their stories overshadowed by modern narratives. Witnessing my grandparents face social isolation and feeling their wisdom and experiences go unheard deeply moved me. This inspired me to found Sage Society, a platform dedicated to empowering older generations, celebrating their voices, and fostering meaningful connections. Sage Society seeks to bridge generational divides and ensure that every story is valued and heard.
